Our game this week is at Murrieta. Directions are attached below. Please make sure to check your equipment the night before that game and before you leave for the game. It will take approximately 45-50 minutes to get to the game field. Please plan accordingly. Also, remember to bring jackets, caps or sweaters. Game time temperature will be 63 degrees and it is expected to be cloudy.

Game time: 1PM. Please make sure to arrive by 1130am at the latest.

We have our first away game at Poway High School. Our game time this week is 4PM, please try to be there by no later than 230PM. Since the game is away and not near by, please plan accordingly.
Directions to Poway High School are:

Take 78 West to the 15 South
Stay on the 15th South
Take W. Bernardo Dr/Pomerado Rd. exit
Make a left on to Rancho Bernardo Rd.
Rancho Bernardo Rd becomes Espola Rd
Poway High School will be on your right on Espola Rd after 3 miles.

Notes for this up-coming week:

Our pre-season game is on Saturday, August 30 at 6pm at Vista Magnet School--our home field. Please make sure to be on the south side of the field--closest to the storage containers and our practice field--by 430pm. Weigh-ins will be at around 5pm.

There is no practice on Friday. However, there is practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for this week only. Starting next week, September 1st, practice will be on: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

As we approach our pre-season game, and for the rest of the season, we would like to make a couple of reminders:

We would like for all players to be present at the game location approximately 90 minutes prior to kick off. Players will be weighed approximately an hour prior to kick off.
Players must have jocks or compression shorts--no exceptions as it is mandatory.
Please check all equipment the night prior to all games.

August 23--Mandatory weigh ins!

When:
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at 115pm for Vista Pop Warner.

Where:
Chaparral High School in Temecula. 27215 Nicolas Rd. Temecula, CA. 92591.

Directions:
Take I-15 North for 29.6mi
Exit right on 79/N Winchester Rd.--Stay on for 1.5mi
Turn right on Nicolas Rd.

Please remember that your child must be present for the weigh-in! The Palomar Conference will not be able to schedule any weigh in prior to this date. Please plan accordingly. To add, if your child is not able to make weight or is not present for weigh-in: your child will be dropped from the roster and not allowed to practice during the following week or participate in the pre-season game (week 0 game). However, if your child is present for the weigh-in and does not meet weight requirements, there will be a make-up date on the following week.

First Day of Practice--Reminders and No

Is everyone ready to begin another great football season?

Your coaching staff has been making the necessary preparations to ensure that we have the best season possible. At this time, we would like to take the time to make some reminders and notes for everyone.

First day of practice: Monday, August 4th, 2008 at 530pm SHARP!
Where: Vista Magnet School (formerly Lincoln Middle School) Football field.
What to wear: T-shirt, gym shorts and cleats. It is preferable that all players write their last names on the back of their t-shirts.

Please bring WATER or SPORTS BEVERAGE of choice to ALL practices!

All players and parents please remember that each player has to complete 10 hours of conditioning prior to being allowed to participate in contact drills. Please make sure to contact Coach Ramirez should there be any issue that arises.
